ComeAround exists to help people build real connections — dates, friendships, and hangouts — in a community that feels safe and respectful. These Community Guidelines explain what is and is not allowed on ComeAround. They apply to your profile, your messages, your Group Meetups, and your conduct toward other Users on and off the App.

THESE GUIDELINES ARE PART OF, AND ARE INCORPORATED BY REFERENCE INTO, THE COMEAROUND TERMS OF USE. VIOLATING THESE GUIDELINES IS A VIOLATION OF THE TERMS OF USE AND MAY RESULT IN CONTENT REMOVAL, ACCOUNT SUSPENSION, OR PERMANENT BAN, AS DESCRIBED IN SECTION 18.

If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first. These Guidelines are not a substitute for emergency help.

1. OUR COMMITMENT TO A SAFE COMMUNITY

1.1 ComeAround is built on trust. Every User is expected to treat others with honesty, respect, and care — online and in person. These Guidelines apply to everyone, regardless of how popular, verified, or long-standing their Account is.

2. NO FAKE PROFILES OR CATFISHING

2.1 Your profile must represent the real you. Do not create a profile using someone else’s photos or identity, use a fake name, misrepresent your age, or otherwise present a false picture of who you are.

2.2 “Catfishing” — pretending to be someone you are not to deceive another User — is strictly prohibited and will result in account removal.

2.3 You may not operate more than one Account, use a bot or automated tool to run a profile, or create a profile on behalf of someone else without their knowledge and consent.

3. NO MINORS ON COMEAROUND

3.1 ComeAround is for adults 18 and older only. You may not use the Service if you are under 18, and you may not create or maintain a profile for anyone under 18.

3.2 Any content that sexualizes, exploits, or endangers a minor is strictly prohibited and will be removed immediately, the Account permanently banned, and reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and/or law enforcement, as required by law.

4. NO PROSTITUTION, ESCORT SERVICES, OR PAID COMPANIONSHIP

4.1 ComeAround may not be used to offer, advertise, solicit, or arrange prostitution, escort services, or any form of paid companionship or paid dating.

4.2 This includes offering or requesting money, gifts, or other compensation in exchange for a date, meeting, companionship, or any sexual activity.

5. NO SOLICITATION OR SUGAR DATING

5.1 Do not use ComeAround to solicit money, gifts, allowances, or other financial support from another User, including arrangements sometimes described as “sugar dating” or similar arrangements involving compensation for companionship or a relationship.

5.2 Do not use the Service to advertise or solicit for any other paid arrangement, business, or service unrelated to genuine dating or hangouts.

6. NO HUMAN TRAFFICKING

6.1 ComeAround has zero tolerance for human trafficking, forced labor, or any activity that exploits, coerces, or endangers another person for someone else’s benefit.

6.2 Any suspected trafficking activity will be reported to law enforcement and relevant authorities, including, where applicable, national human trafficking hotlines.

7. NO HARASSMENT OR STALKING

7.1 Treat other Users with respect. Do not harass, bully, threaten, demean, or repeatedly contact someone who has asked you to stop or who has not responded.

7.2 Do not track, follow, monitor, or show up uninvited to a location based on information another User shared with you, including through live location or “Available Now.” Using information shared on the Service to locate or surveil another User without their consent is stalking and is strictly prohibited.

8. NO VIOLENCE

8.1 Do not threaten, incite, glorify, or engage in violence against any person. This includes threats made in messages, on a profile, or during a Group Meetup, as well as showing up to a meeting with the intent to harm another User.

8.2 Content depicting or promoting graphic violence, weapons used to threaten or harm, or violent extremism is not allowed on the Service.

9. NO DISCRIMINATION

9.1 ComeAround welcomes people of all backgrounds. Do not post or send content that attacks, demeans, or excludes others based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, or any other protected characteristic.

9.2 Stating a genuine personal preference in who you would like to date or meet is different from expressing hatred or discrimination toward a group, and is generally permitted; degrading, hateful, or dehumanizing language about a group is not.

10. NO SCAMS OR FRAUD

10.1 Do not use ComeAround to defraud, deceive, or manipulate another User for financial or personal gain. This includes romance scams, fake investment opportunities, fake emergencies used to request money, and any scheme intended to trick a User into giving up money or personal information.

10.2 Impersonating a public figure, celebrity, military member, or other identity to gain trust for a scam is strictly prohibited.

11. NO CRYPTOCURRENCY SCAMS

11.1 Do not promote, solicit investment in, or direct other Users toward cryptocurrency schemes, “pig butchering” investment scams, fake trading platforms, or any crypto-related fraud through the Service.

11.2 Be cautious of any User who quickly steers conversation toward investing, trading, or a financial opportunity — this is a common scam pattern, and you should report it immediately.

12. NO EXTERNAL PAYMENT REQUESTS

12.1 Never send money, gift cards, cryptocurrency, or financial or banking information to another User, and do not ask another User to do so. Legitimate connections on ComeAround do not require payment, loans, or financial assistance between Users.

12.2 Do not direct other Users to third-party payment apps, wire transfers, or external platforms to request or send money outside the Service.

13. NO SPAM OR UNAUTHORIZED COMMERCIAL ACTIVITY

13.1 Do not use ComeAround to advertise a business, promote another app or website, sell products or services, or send repetitive, unsolicited, or automated messages.

13.2 Do not use the Service to recruit for multi-level marketing schemes, surveys, or unrelated promotions.

14. NUDITY AND SEXUAL CONTENT

14.1 Do not post nudity or sexually explicit images or video in your profile, and do not send unsolicited sexual images or content to other Users.

14.2 Non-consensual sharing of intimate images of yourself or anyone else is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate account termination and may be reported to law enforcement.

15. SELF-HARM AND SUICIDE CONTENT

15.1 We care about the wellbeing of our Users. Do not post content that promotes, glorifies, or provides instructions for suicide or self-harm.

15.2 If you are struggling or having thoughts of self-harm, please reach out to a crisis helpline in your area, or contact local emergency services if you are in immediate danger.

16. ILLEGAL GOODS AND ACTIVITIES

16.1 Do not use ComeAround to advertise, sell, purchase, or arrange the exchange of illegal drugs, weapons, or other goods or services prohibited by applicable law.

17. HOW TO REPORT A CONCERN

17.1 If you encounter a profile, message, or behavior that violates these Guidelines, please report it using the in-app reporting tools, or contact us directly at support@comearound.app with as much detail as possible.

17.2 You can also block any User at any time to immediately stop further contact from them.

17.3 Reporting a concern does not guarantee a specific outcome, but every report is reviewed. Disagreeing with or not being interested in another User is not itself a violation of these Guidelines.

18. ENFORCEMENT AND CONSEQUENCES

18.1 Violating these Guidelines may result in content removal, a warning, temporary suspension, or permanent termination of your Account, at our discretion, depending on the severity and nature of the violation, as described in our Terms of Use.

18.2 Severe violations — including those involving minors, trafficking, violence, or credible safety threats — will result in immediate and permanent account termination and may be reported to law enforcement, regardless of whether this is a first-time violation.

18.3 We may also take action based on conduct that occurs outside the App, if we become aware that it involves another ComeAround User and endangers the safety of our community.
