How we use cookies and similar technologies.
COMEAROUND
COOKIE POLICY
Effective Date: July 28, 2026
Operated by VERIX LABS
To be read together with the ComeAround Privacy Policy
www.comearound.app
This Cookie Policy explains how VERIX LABS (“we,” “us,” or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on the ComeAround website (www.comearound.app) and mobile application (collectively, the “Service”), and the choices available to you. This Policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
In short: our website uses only essential and limited functional cookies today. We do not currently use analytics or advertising cookies. This Policy explains what that means and how it could change.
1. WHAT ARE COOKIES?
1.1 Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow a website to recognize your device and store certain information about your visit or preferences.
1.2 “Similar technologies” include local storage, pixels, and software development kit (SDK) identifiers used within mobile apps, which serve comparable purposes to cookies but work differently on a device than in a browser.
2. COOKIES ON OUR WEBSITE
2.1 Our website (www.comearound.app) may use cookies to operate correctly, keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and understand basic aggregate use of the site.
The table below summarizes the categories of cookies that exist generally, and which ones we currently use:
Category | Purpose | Currently Used? |
Strictly Necessary | Enable core functionality, such as keeping you logged in and remembering security settings. | Yes |
Functional | Remember preferences, such as language or display settings, to improve your experience. | Yes, limited |
Analytics | Understand how visitors use our website or App in aggregate. | No, not currently |
Advertising | Track browsing across sites to deliver targeted ads. | No, not currently |
2.2 We do not currently use analytics cookies (such as Google Analytics) or advertising cookies (such as ad-network or retargeting pixels) on our website. If this changes, we will update this Policy and, where required by applicable law, request your consent before using non-essential cookies.
3. COOKIES AND TECHNOLOGIES IN OUR MOBILE APP
3.1 Traditional browser cookies do not operate within a mobile app. Instead, our App may use device identifiers, local on-device storage, and push notification tokens to support core functionality, such as keeping you logged in and delivering notifications.
3.2 We do not currently use mobile advertising identifiers (such as Apple’s IDFA or Google’s Advertising ID) or third-party analytics SDKs within the App. If this changes, we will update this Policy and request any permission required by your device’s operating system or applicable law.
4. THIRD-PARTY COOKIES AND TECHNOLOGIES
4.1 Some functionality on our website may be provided by third parties (for example, our hosting or infrastructure providers), which may set their own strictly necessary cookies or use similar technologies to support that functionality. These third parties are permitted to use this information only to provide services to us.
4.2 We do not currently permit third-party advertising or analytics companies to place cookies or tracking technologies through the Service.
5. HOW LONG COOKIES LAST
5.1 Session Cookies. Some cookies are temporary and are deleted automatically when you close your browser.
5.2 Persistent Cookies. Other cookies remain on your device for a set period, or until you delete them, so that the website can remember you on a return visit.
6. YOUR COOKIE CHOICES
6.1 Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings, including blocking or deleting cookies. Because strictly necessary cookies are required for the website to function, blocking them may affect your ability to use certain features.
6.2 If we introduce analytics or advertising cookies in the future, we will provide a cookie-consent mechanism on our website that lets you accept or decline non-essential cookies, consistent with applicable law.
6.3 For our mobile App, you can manage permissions such as notifications and tracking through your device’s operating system settings.
7. DO NOT TRACK SIGNALS
7.1 Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” (DNT) signal. Because there is no common industry standard for how to respond to DNT signals, our website does not currently respond differently to browsers with DNT enabled. This does not currently affect you, since we do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
8. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
8.1 We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time, including if we begin using analytics or advertising technologies. If we make material changes, we will update the “Effective Date” on the cover page and, where required by applicable law, request your consent before applying the change.
